Raised in Metcalfe, Mississippi, with three siblings by her maternal grandmother, Evangelist Dorothy Vick, Tarishan embarked upon a unique journey orchestrated by God. After the early death of her mother and hardships, she was led into ministry. Under the leadership of Pastor Larry Guster of King Solomon Church, she was licensed in 2000 and ordained in 2003 into the five-fold ministry office of Prophetess. She started a prayer ministry and served as the youth minister at her local church where she grew in knowledge, discernment, and wisdom. Tarishan graduated from Delta State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies. Later, she obtained a Master of Science degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Walking in a cutting-edge Issachar prophetic anointing, Prophetess Tarishan gainfully earned the nicknames “The Eagle-Eye Prophet” and “The Midwife of the Delta.” She is known for her witty candor of recapitulating scriptures, the hitting and piercing of targets while prophesying, and coining phrases that flow from her spirit. In 2022, she birthed the Daughters & Sons of Deborah (DSOD) ministry. She has accepted the mandate of pioneering and mobilizing a prophetic movement of the Five-Fold ministry offices. Prophetess Tarishan births, trains, and empowers others to adopt a Kingdom Prophetic-Mindset. She founded Global Empowerment Ministries (GEM), Treasures in Earthen Vessels Christian Counseling (TIEVCC) and Above Rubies Boutique. Prophetess Tarishan is blessed by God to have the support of her family including three beautiful daughters, four grandchildren and her father, Michael Johnson. She currently resides in Cordova, Tennessee.
